Truth and opinion
“truth” without God isn’t truth. It is just a statement or concept that is both tentative (doubtful) and simply personal opinion (subjective). So if someone who does not accept God gives you their opinion, accept it simply as that: “opinion.” If it’s their opinion that they are telling you truth, again accept it just as their opinion.
Humans without God, on our own, only have our limited and biased perception, never all the facts, unable to account for all factors and no way out of that situation. That’s not to say opinion can’t be useful. Opinions can be really useful. But never mistake it for more than what it is: just an opinion.
You know what an a person who rejects God may say, “David, that’s just your opinion.” And my reply? “Really? Is that the truth?”
