For a time I listened to a youtube channel called “Middle Nation.” A well-spoken man called Shadid Bolsen was making fantastic point about and against what is called “western culture.” He eviscerated feminist claim and did a good job of promoting a fictionalised Islam where Muslims would keep their religion faithfully. I say “fictionalised” because I’ve not met this religiously consistent muslim, nor have I heard of one in real life. They’re generally ok with breaking some of their foundational “pillars,” like drinking alcohol. Divorce and domestic abuse is by no means a stranger to that people. Sex outside of marriage seems to be common. Essentially, living in the corrosive or virulent or toxic conditions in the west may have broken down the ties that bind in that Muslim culture. In my experience, being in Europe or the European Americas waters down the fervency of religionists, and they tend to water down and dilute their faith or fidelity to the doctrines of their religions under western, secular influences. Christians are pathetic. Those who are supposed to embrace Torah fear its law coming into effect in their lands because their native law codes are “perfect” as they are, like so-called “human right” or the fangless constitution of America. Apostolics or Pentacostals who, in other lands, would go deep into their idolatrous worship, in the european lands make their worship more like light exercise workouts to musically bland songs with “vain repetitions” for lyrics or are more conscious about being popular or acceptable than showing their devotion to their idol.
Basically, the west is a form of vampire for various forms of religious devotion and pumps out other poisons with which to ensnare a devotee into its own idolatries, be it government, sexual depravity, drug abuse, scientism, celebrity, but in the end what seems to be the worship of self. “Your god is your belly.”
And this is what smashed me across the face as some of what Bolsen said resonated with me. The morality of the west seems to be basically government edict, the products of some of the most untrustworthy portions of society, namely politicians, wrapped together with the uprooted vestiges of dead religions. Because these vestiges have had their roots chopped off, they becom distorted and transmuted in the hands of the amoral west, to the point where it’s a dangerous thing to merely cause offence, especially to those with protected characteristics, where killing unborn babies is celebrated under the guise of female healthcare.
In a place where morality has no more strength than the edicts of liars whose reach has limits and the rotting vestiges of a bygone morality, then is it any wonder that it can be said that the west actually has no morality?
The common westerner may balk at that claim, especially in the face of their apparent accusation regarding the marriage of Aisha to the false prophet of Islam at 9 years old. But that’s until you actually look at the basis of the morality they use to accuse Mohammed (and also a mass of historical marriages).
The common westerner has no divine text, no objective morality with which to condemn acts in the past or even in the present. They cannot point to objective or absolute standards to condemn the marriage of a 9 year old. And I include many so-called religious people under the umbrella of “the common westerner” since they typically discard the teachings of their sect for western morality. All the common westerner has is the arbitrary line set by politicians to delineate what is a child and what is an adult, nothing more. Yeah, they’ll try to attach theories of harm to the politicians’ edict, to make it seem like the “law” was made just for our good, when the agenda of politicians is rarely, if ever, the good of people as opposed to the desire for popularity and power.
In the UK, the arbitrary line is set at 18 years old, coinciding with the typical ending of school attendance for some funny reason that I won’t put forward here. The Englishman has elevated the dictates of the morally questionable to an actual moral code where a man over 18 years old having sex with a female under 18 is condemned, not as disagreeing with what are factually the opinions of other men, but as morally reprehensible, deplorable, twisted and evil, even if it was once. The issue is NOT harm. And it doesn’t mattes if it was in the confines of a long-lasting, caring, monogamous marriage. No, all that matters is the elevated politician dictate, the arbitrary line and the sex involved. That’s the basis.
Don’t make the mistake of expecting deeper thought from the common pleb nowadays, as if they’ve spent their youthful years pondering on the standards of right and wrong, building a strong and well-founded basis for logic and morality. Do not expect much better than the instinct of various types of animal, like a domesticated dog or a wild cat. They know sports. They have an idea of politics (or what is in charge, or who people can shirk their responsibility onto). They are great at talking about what happened on TV shows. The “smart” ones remember the (pseudo)scientific indocrintation imprinted upon them, to regurgitate at times. But as to what makes something morally good, that’s as good as licking your index finger, then holding that finger up to feel the direction of the breeze and then superficially choosing to go with the flow.
The sad fact is that the population I live amongst has no moral stand, that’s what I conclude anyway. Plenty know how to be nice and inoffensive. Plenty know how to shout and clench the fists in anger. But when it comes to what is morally right and wrong, what really is here? As I said when it comes to the western complaint about child marriage (which still happens in the west legally) and most other issues, they have no solid moral grounding upon which to truly combat those contentious issues with any potency. They can’t even stop their own genocide as they are replaced by foreigners and by the destruction of their own birth rates.
Wait! Did I said “they are replaced” in the passive voice? No, too many of them promote their own destruction.
